Since graduating from the Universty of Surrey in 2009 as a registered nurse, I have worked in the NHS for the past 15 years. Giving up my last role as an immunisation team lead in March 2024 to concentrate my time on building this business and being a mum to my 3 children.
I have always had a passion and interest in infant feeding and how empowering families with the correct evidence based information can transform their feeding journey.
After the birth of my 3rd child I realised how important education can be to a successful feeding journey, I was fortunate enough to have some of these skills from my time supporting families in NICU to make my personal feeding journey a success. I decided to further my passion and education by completing an infant feeding course. I chose to do this through The Infant Feeding Academy, a FEDANT accredited educators. They provide ongoing support, teachings and programs to make sure all graduated infant feeding coaches are continuing to offer the best support to their clients.
I have recently qualified as one of the first accredited and approved MICROBIRTH teachers within the UK, enabling me to share my passion and knowledge with families wishing to explore how they can protect and promote their infants microbiome.
